Banyan Tree Group and La Quinta Real Estate Group agreed to open the Angsana Real de la Quinta Benahavis Marbella resort and apartments in 2026. The development, which will be located in the lovely Mediterranean town of Benahavis near Marbella, will contain a hotel, branded houses, flats, and commercial spaces. The project will be the group’s first venture into Spain.
Angsana Real de la Quinta Benahavis Marbella will offer wide views over the undulating hills below and the azure Alboran sea from its hilltop location inside the 200-hectare Real de La Quinta private neighborhood.
The hotel will include three dining locations, including all-day dining, signature and pool bar and grill concepts, conference spaces, a spa and kids’ club, adult and family pools, and a wedding amphitheater. Branded apartments, which range in size from 97 to 151 square meters, are a carefully designed combination of light and space that also satisfies the necessities of a family lifestyle. Angsana homes will be available in two- and three-bedroom configurations and will have facilities such as a private courtyard, swimming pool, parking, daily housekeeping, and maintenance services.
Angsana Real de La Quinta Benahavis Marbella will provide moonlit paddles around Real de La Quinta’s lake, nature hikes to discover native flora, including to the neighboring UNESCO biosphere reserve, to assist families with local immersion through on- and off-site activities. Real de La Quinta will also feature a restaurant operated by the renowned Azotea Grupo, as well as a Health & Wellness section managed by Le Max Club, one of Spain’s and Southern Europe’s most stylish and luxury locations.
